We have been without rain for many days here in BH and I feel like now we’ll have a lot of rainy days to come in a row! Summer approaches us and as we well know it, it’s time for rain, right? Every day is the same thing: drenched shoes, pants’ hems wet… That is, if the rain is not accompanied by wind strikes, in which case you end up completely soaked!

But there are some nice tips on how to dress on days of constant rain. Let’s start: the first thing you should worry about are shoes. Always wear closed shoes on such days! And still, try to find whatever is more water-resistant so your feet can stay as dry as possible. Better yet is wearing boots, they are always a good choice and the high upper part helps to protect your feet and ankles ( I’ve made a post about them here!)… The ideal would be to be a galosh man! If you really don’t want to get your feet wet, there’s no other way, that’s the best solution!

As to the clothes: avoid light shades, wet spots show up and can become transparent. A trench coat is always a good option for those days. The ideal fabric for that kind of coat is the gabardine, which is slightly plasticized and therefore, really protects against water, besides the wind on colder days. Trench coats are charming, when you wear one, you become more elegant, believe me. And they keep the shirt and good part of the pants underneath them dry, which is what matters most in days like that.

To finish, don’t forget the umbrella, lol! I particularly prefer the long ones, since they look more classical when closed, but the folding ones are more practical, aren’t they? Choose yours and don’t mind if it is black or colorful. The important thing is to get less wet as possible!
